What are credits?
An internal unit for cloud AI usage — not money.
One balance, every source
You hold a single credit balance fed by your plan and any top-ups. Every AI operation is debited at the provider's real cost and shown in the in-app usage history.
Renewal & expiry
Subscription credits renew each billing period and do not roll over. Top-up credit packs are valid for 12 months from purchase, after which the unused amount expires.
The editor and export never use credits — only cloud generation, Frami and other cloud AI do. An agent you connect over MCP runs on your own provider subscription and spends zero Itsframe credits.

Is the editor really free?
Yes. The full professional editor — importing, cutting, grading, mixing, captioning and 4K hardware export — is free, with no watermark. Paid plans add cloud AI, metered by credits.
What do credits pay for?
Credits meter cloud AI usage only: Frami and image, video and voice generation. Editing and export never use credits. Credits are an internal metering unit, not currency, and are not redeemable for cash or transferable between accounts.
Do I need an API key for Frami?
No. We run the models for Frami and meter them with your plan credits. There is nothing to paste or manage.
Does connecting my own agent cost credits?
No. An agent you connect over MCP — ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot — runs on your subscription with that provider and spends zero Itsframe credits.
